This is the card Brandon commissioned me to create for the 42ND Street production at the Goodspeed Theater in East Haddam, Conn. It was a collaboration of ideas from photos he sent and my own response to the 42ND Street musical. In addition to all the painstaking details, it has 108 Swarovski crystals that I hand set. I finally finished and sent it off to him this morning. It took me 30 minutes in the Post Office to choose a box I thought would best protect my "baby" through the mail. Then when it was finally all packaged-up, the Post Office attendant kind of gave the package a few hard taps on the counter to make sure it was secure (I guess). Anyway, I cringed, it's like sending one of my kids off to school for the first time. Hopefully it will arrive safe and sound!
